I have a huge smile on my face! The
album is complete and I'm just awaiting the hard copies from
Discmakers. The good news is that digital download cards will be in my
hands tomorrow! They will be available for purchase via my web page
reservation and at live performances. The decisions I've made, the
people I've surrounded myself with, and the long hours of dedication
enabled this album to grow over the months. Not only have I learned an
incredible amount as a musician/songwriter, but my knowledge of the
music business has expanded tenfold! Not to mention the overall
personal growth I've had because of this amazing project!
It is so amazing to think I actually started singing 17 years ago,
seriously at the age of 8. I had a moment of complete joy and sadness
today when I watched my first idol, Mariah Carey, sing "I'll Be There" at
the memorial for Michael Jackson. I've known from a very early age the
power of music, and how in any situation it is there for us. Today, I
remember the initial joy I had from hearing my very first record and
how all I want is to share my voice with you all. I truly believe that
we all have something creative and important to share, and this album
is an extension of my personal life journey and the reflections of my
friends, family, and complete network of people. Please enjoy.
