A Positive Approach to Teaching
Katherine earned her Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy and Jazz Performance from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her experience in both Jazz Improvisation and Music Therapy helped her learn how to adapt to each students’ specific musical goals, and develop an approach that enables the student to learn at a comfortable pace. Katherine emphasizes a positive approach to teaching, instilling confidence leading to the expression of musical proficiency and creativity.
